While all of these things are true, I'm fortunate enough to say that I've been able to create a living out of all of these favorite things of mine! Let me break it down for you...
In June of 2020, my business partner, Anne, and I decided to launch With Love Event Planning. An event planning company specializing in Weddings along the MN/WI border (though we travel wherever you want to take us!). We offer packages setup/teardown to wedding day coordination to full-service wedding planning. Now would also be a good time to plug our Referral Program! Just be sure the couple mentions your name upon booking.Rewind the timeline back to September of 2015 - the beginning of my barista journey! Right out of high school I landed a job at a local bagel and coffee shop, sparking my love for creating coffee for my community. A year later, I found myself working at the coffee shop in my own hometown where I grew up. This shop has seen 3 owners and 3 names, but the one consistent - me! (lol) As many times as I "quit," or "stepped back." This little shop always had me crawling back, I just couldn't get enough of our customers and coffee. Fast forward now, November 2023, I began my career at Ember + Bean Roasting Co. in Hudson, WI as a Barista Guide. This is where my coffee career has truly taken off. Since joining the E+B team I've learned more than I ever could have imagined! In March I was sent to St. Louis where I went through a 7-day, intensive coffee training - it was the week of my dreams! I am now an SCA Professional in Brewing, Sensory Skills, and Barista Skills. Since then, I attended my first Coffee Expo in Chicago. I'm excited to continue growing with this company, never giving up on my coffee journey.Beyond these 2 things, I fill my time teaching yoga at a couple studios and gym, coach my local high school cheerleading squad, and nanny a few awesome kiddos! My calendar is packed, but my heart is full!
